Whether you work outside the home in a corporate career, or inside the home as a mamapreneur, work-life balance is something that we all seem to be striving for.
So, naturally, the question a lot of working mothers find themselves asking is… “Is work-life balance even possible? And if it is… how the heck do I achieve it?!”
Intentionality is a phrase that gets thrown around a lot. So often we hear that we need to be ‘intentional’ with our time, but what does that actually mean?
Why is it important?
And what does living intentionally look like in our day to day lives? Ladies, buckle your seatbelts, because we are about to start living with purpose.
You may have noticed me talking a little bit (okay, a lot) about my brand new program ‘From Frazzled To Fabulous’ lately. And I could go on all day about how I think it’s the best thing since sliced bread, but would you actually believe me? Probably not.read more
I can barely contain my excitement. Doors for my program ‘From Frazzled To Fabulous’ will be opening on the 7th July!
I want to apologize in advance if you get a little bit sick of me talking about this program for the next few weeks, but I have poured everything I have into this.
Life with kids can be unpredictable, messy, chaotic and just a tad stressful.
Sometimes it feels like there is just too much to do, and not enough time to do it in. It’s a common issue, but believe it or not there are ways that we can feel much more calm and balanced in our homes.
I’ve totally been where you are today. You’ve got a million and one things to do, you’ve got pressure coming from all sides to be the best parent you can possibly be, and all you really want to do is curl up on the sofa with a tub of Ben & Jerry’s and Netflix. More than anything…
You want to actually ENJOY your family!
“I’m stretched too thin.”
“I have too much to do.”
“I am being pulled in a thousand different directions.”
“There’s no way I can get it all done.”
These are all common complaints that I hear on a daily basis from the ladies I chat with. Being a mother is an intense job, and unlike other jobs, there’s no holiday and no days off.
Your baby’s birth is one of the most memorable days of your life, but it can often get lost in the fog of new mama days. Many women have contacted me and said that they would love to write a blog post about their birth, but they’re just not sure how to put such an amazing event into words.read more
Do you start your day like an actual crazy person? Is it just chaos and rushing around from the second you wake up? Yep, I’ve been there. There’s always just so much to do… change baby butts, wash clothes, pump boobie milk, do the dishes from last night, have a shower (Ha! Yeah right!)read more
We’ve all been there. We’ll have a few days or weeks or even months where we are just unstoppable, where we’ll get all of things done and feel super duper proud of ourselves come bedtime. Perhaps the house is looking above par, or maybe, just maybe, we’ve actually IRONED our kids’ outfits! I know, it’s a rarity in our house too. But then, after being supermama for a while, we just kind of… burn out. Welcome to the homemakers’ rut.read more

Okay, before anyone gets up on their high horse, no I am not condoning teen pregnancy. HOWEVER… as a woman who got married and had a baby before I turned 21, I am constantly bombarded with questions of ‘why’. Why on earth would I do that? Why would I give up my younger years to start a family? Well, I’m here to tell you why.read more
